At the end of God of War, the brutal warrior Kratos had defeated Ares and ascended to Olympus as the new God of War. In Ghost of Sparta, Kratos finds that his new powers are not enough to stop the nightmares that continue to plague him. To free himself of the ghosts that haunt his memories, Kratos must embark on a journey that will reveal the origins of lost worlds and answer long-awaited questions about his dark past. Armed with the deadly Blades of Athena, he will have to overcome armies of mythological monsters, legions of undead soldiers, and amazingly dangerous and brutal landscapes throughout his merciless quest.

I sent a feedback about this and the disappointing reply I got was just a "Since we haven't stated that the bonus download content is included, we are sorry that the content is not guaranteed to be included."

I have since suggested for a simple update of the image on this page, but yet to see or receive any satisfactory response. Strongly recommend all to learn from my lesson and spread the word to be extra mindful of similar situations with Play-Asia. Play-Asia provides excellent service other-wise.

The game is great of course.

Technically superb, it really shows what the PSP can do. Action is great, just like the rest of the god of war series

Great looking action for PSP
GoW: Ghosts of Sparta is similar to the other games in the franchise so if you're a fan, there's lots to like about this game. The action is as brutal and engaging as ever, and the graphics are even better looking than Chains of Olympus. There's not really a lot of innovation here, but the new scenery blends well with the familiar game mechanics of the earlier GoW titles. A definite 5 stars for this PSP title.

A Worthy Follow Up
God of War: Ghost of Sparta is a fine sequel to the first GOW. The graphics & gameplay are mostly similar, which is not bad for a game that pushes the graphics juices of PSP engine. One of the better games for 2010.
