Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley

A great expansion on the original version, if you are a Harvest Moon fan then hit add to cart, you wont regret it :)

It's Harvest Moon, so you probably know whether you're interested already.
And since it's apparently a remake of 'Save the Homeland' - released in the very early days of the PS2 and never garnering a PAL release so I've never seen let alone played it - a welcome look back for a series that is reaching a dizzying amount of installments (must be about 25-30 by now, lol....)
And for those who've never played a Harvest Moon title? Well, imagine 'Farmville' if it was fun, charming, insightful, witty and you're still not close to hwo wonderful thsi series really is. :)

If you've played any Harvest Moon game then you can guess what happens in this game, go ahead and pick it up.

If you haven't then your missing out. In a world of games which seems to focus on action and button mashing, "Harvest Moon: Heroes of Leaf Valley" stands out due to it's leisurely, slow pace.

The game is quite simple. You have a farm and live in a small rural community. Do whatever you feel like. Plant seeds and take care of your crops and livestock if you want. Or completely ignore you farm and go fishing. Go out and take with your neighbours, do a part-time job, whatever.

The game does have a plot to it; some big corporation wants to bulldoze the whole place down and build an amusement park on top but as long as you do some work every day then you should be fine, no pressure.

Days go by and by, the game is slow and leisurely. Great if you've got a lot of free time on your hands because it's a little hard to stop playing once you start.

This game is a remake of HM:Save the Homeland.It got more characters and unlike the original you can marry and get more endings too. This game is even better than the first in my opinion.

If you loved HM:Save the Homeland you will adore this one.

I really like this game.very addictive.must have for Harvest Moon fans that have PSP
