The new updated PlayStation2 Console features a progressive scan out function (for improved picture quality), a new 3.0 DVD firmware upgrade, is 30% more silent compared to previous models and additionally supports a new remote control which allows users to turn on/off the PS2™ console as well as open/close the DVD tray.

Besides from this, the updated PlayStation2™ still plays back all PlayStation2™ and PlayStation2™ games (Japanese region encoded titles only) as well as DVD movies (Region 2 NTSC only!).

The PlayStation2 Racing Pack Ceramic White includes a ceramic white PS2™ console, a matching Dual Shock2™ pad as well as Gran Turismo 4 Prologue.

this is GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
really silent you cant even tell its on. but if you live in the united states youll need an adapter to play it thought but its well worth it . my advice buy this !!!

extra silent!
This ps2 model (asia) is very silent, and it is still cold after 2 hours of playing, whereas the 30004 PAL series is so warm and noisy.

In two words : Excellent product
which is directly plugable to the european 220V sockets while playing japanese game titles and HK (zone 3) video DVDs (with or without RCE protection).

GT4 PS2 is kewl
The GT4 playstation2 is the Great system for all Grantourismo fans its Ceramic white (the offical color of GT4) it comes with GT4 prologue :D and its not gone come out side of asia wich means that you can show it off to your friends :P and make them nuts
