Players return to the eerie town of Silent Hill in an new story with new characters. Players assume the role of James Sunderland, who receives a cryptic letter from his wife - who has been dead for three years -- beckoning him to meet her in Silent Hill, a place that holds great meaning for the couple. The mystery of the letter frightens and confuses James, compelling him to investigate the surreal horror and all-too-real danger that awaits him.

Set amongst the dense fog and haunting darkness of the eerie town, accompanied by dramatic music presented in Dolby Surround, Konami pushes the boundaries of the macabre survival/horror genre. With much better graphics and sound taking advantage of the new features and technological improvements of the next generation console platforms. There are many new enemies to face and weapons to wield.

amazing!!!
since the EU version is almost impossible to find i bougth this one, silent hill 2 is one of my top 10 favorites games of all time, with the english subtitles nothing is missing here, great game, great price thank you PlayAsia!!!

Magnificent game!
This game is a masterpiece of the horror games, and my favorite horror title in the series and in the genre as a whole. It delivers a captivating storyline with an immersive atmosphere, never before seen in horrors.
The Konami Palace Selection version has a nice colored manual, and the box design is not bad either.
You can also choose English/Japanese texts in the options screen.
