Super GameBoy 2

This is the perfect Pokemon playing device. In fact, the reason why this version of Gameboy exists is because of Pokemon itself. This is just a Super Gameboy with a link cable slot and was unreleased in North America. If you want to play this on your North American Super Nintendo, either modify your Super Nintendo or buy a Super Gameboy 1 USA and switch the back parts of the Super Gameboy. It fit just fine for me. This Super Gameboy has more color options and extra options specifically for Pokemon Red and Green. Other than that, it is basically the same thing as the first Super Gameboy. Also, one other nice thing is that this SUper Gameboy has lights on it in a see through teal piece of plastic. Great piece of hardware if you are into collecting.

I've been searching all over for this for a couple of months now... I hope Play-Asia restocks on this item in the future!

I\'ve bought this item to complete my GameBoy collection. This was one that missed in my collection.

When you buy this item to use;

-PAL-EUR Does fit in the SNES, but doesn\'t work.
-NTSC-USA Doesn\'t fit, so couldn\'t test.
-NTSC-JAP I don\'t have this console, but the SGB2 is made for it, so it should only work on this (Super Famicom).

So, great item/value for my collection, unfortunately no console to use it. But I will give it 5-start because of the price and the experience I have with the \"normal\" SGB1.

This product has allow a better screen ratio than the last gameboy player for gamecube. It also display the game border that certain GB games only display when using the super gameboy and allows you to play link game either with 1 SNES&1GB or 2SNES (&2SGB+2TV).
It\'s cheap, It comes brand new, so go for it ^_^

This adapter let you play any original game boy game. Also you can use the SNES mouse to draw frame. But be careful the SGB2 cannot play \"GameBoy Color Only\" game but can play Hybrid GameBoy/Color Games.
