The Castle of Shikigami II / Shikigami No Shiro II

Seriously I got this on whim because I was entertained by the horrible XS port of the original Shikigami to PS2. This game improves on it in so many ways.

With so many characters and play options this one is a keeper. I only wish I could understand Japanese so that I could get the story!

Expands on the strengths of Shikigami no Shiro and includes a selection of useful new characters. The buzz system is still adrenalin pumping and has been tweaked to provide more features to the game. Gameplay wise, anyone who\'s familiar with ESP Ra De and Psyvariar will feel right at home (Kuga\'s Shiki attack will also be familiar to those who\'ve played Guwange), and the game also delves into Ikaruga territory with the layout of some levels. Overall presentation is excellent, the graphics from this NAOMI port are a nice upgrade from the original, the music is wonderful (and includes 2 versions to listen to) and there are the usual galleries and different play modes.
