Transformers: War for Cybertron

- Tight controls
= best transformers experience.

Great graphics. Fun if you enjoy Transformers but very short.

Among three Transformers games on XB360, I am confident that WFC is the best game for all Transformers fans. Every character such as Megatron or Optimus is rather talkative like TV animation or movie, and the story is very interested as pre-history of the Transformer movie.

However, it is rather Gears-of-war-like TPS war shooter (w/ CO-OP teammates), and the transformation from automotive to robot or reverse is not so worth itself to play. If you like to play with transformation, the second XB360 game, Transformers - The revenge of the fallen is your choice.

Don't buy the first one, Transformers - The Game. It's terrible. The second or the third should be your choice.

Following last year's Batman: Arkum Asylum, Transformers: War for Cybertron takes a franchise we've held dear to our hearts for years and delivers and engaging and entertaining campaign and multiplayer experience.

In the campaign, you and up to 2 friends play through both the Decepticon and Autobot storylines of the War for Cybertron, which Hasbro has officially endorsed as official Transformers canon. The story reveals how the transformers ended up on earth and how certain relationships began and why.

The graphics and sound are spot on and the gameplay is an inspired third person shooter at its best! On click transforming, character selection, and the freedom to approach missions as you see fit make this game pure joy to play. The boss fights are very satisfying and the experience will leave you wanting more.

Multiplayer is surprisingly good with War for Cybertron, as you rank up, unlocking new abilities and weapons along the way. Again with its multiplayer gameplay, War for Cybertron allows you the freedom to approach it as you see fit, whether sniping from the great beyond or swooping in as a jet, transforming in mid air, and smashing an unsuspecting opponent with your battle axe!

War for Cybertron is the sleeper hit of '10 thus far and it is a must buy for fans of third person action games as well as for old & new school Transformers fans!

Wish it was a bit longer campaign and they included the Transformers that transformed into ie. Brutakis i/o of just having certain individual parts. Even the Aerobots transforming into that giant beastoid! At least they didn't have Megatron transforming into a tiny gun Starscream could hold! LoL!
