Feels low-effort, Doesn't really capture the Bubble Bobble magic

First of all, I bought this for the Bubble Symphony port, which turns out not to be on the disc, it's a single use DLC code, so what should have been the best part of the package isn't even really part of it. Very bad form.

The trophies for the main game appear in Japanese, even if this is a US release, which is never a good look either.

The main game itself just feels like a cheap mobile game with a Bubble Bobble theme / light Bubble Bobble mechanics forced in. The randomly generated dungeons like the careful crafted design of the original game. You can only have 10 bubbles on screen at once, at which point your fire button just does nothing, which is very irritating,

It's something different for sure, but none of the changes here have made for a better Bubble Bobble experience, they all detract from it, dilute what made the originals so good. After enjoying other recent releases in the series such as Bubble Bobble 4 Friends this is quite the miserable experience and barely worth the 2 stars I'm giving it.
