Boy, he'll grow on you
Unlike most people, I did not take to Sackboy, the plush-toy avatar you control in this platforming game, immediately. Sure, the little guy is charming, with his cute button eyes, wide jubilant smile and an oversized zipper for a tie. Developed by Media Molecule, LittleBigPlanet™ is a new PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) computer entertainment system community-based game with a hugely innovative concept behind it. Players meet on a blue and green planet scattered with individual plots – and use their character’s amazing abilities to play, create and share what they build with other gamers throughout the world via PLAYSTATION®Network.

The LittleBigPlanet experience starts with players learning about their character’s powers to interact physically with the environment. There are places to explore, creative resources to collect and puzzles to solve – all requiring a combination of brains and collaborative teamwork. As soon as players begin their creative skills will grow and they will soon be ready to start creating and modifying their surroundings – the first step to sharing them with the whole community.

Characters have the power to move anything in this glued and stitched-together 3D landscape; they have the power to design, shape and build both objects and entire locations for others to view and play. There’s no complicated level editor; all of these skills can be learned by simply playing the game. Creativity is part of the gameplay experience and playing is part of the creative experience. Players can make their world as open or as secretive to explore as they like. When it’s ready, they can invite anyone within the LittleBigPlanet community to come and explore their patch – or can go and explore everybody else’s.

A really good and diferent game
When i try to figure out in what "game type" enter "Little Big Planet"... I don't know what to say, is a puzzle game? is a plataformer? is a mixed up of all great stuff you see in every game in your life? I don't know, the only thing I know is that game is awesome

EXCLUSIVE, period
Definitely a fun game only PS3 owners can have. The graphics are more appealing to younger kids but the puzzles are addictive to adults. Plus the fact that you can create custom levels that can be played with a friend through multiplayer.

Fun and exclusive, collection is not complete without it.

Everything looks so real.
This is the game I have always dreamed of as a kid. Being able to move character that look real in an environment that also looks real. Of course, the animals are not actually animals, but the materials they are made from ARE real. You're moving around in a massive diorama. You'll spend forever looking for all the items in each level. And player-made levels make it that much more addicting.

HAhahHAHa!
Everyone loves this game! You can play it with anyone, it's always fun to introduce people to it. There are some impressive user-created stages. But sadly, it's lost my interest due to a lack of official level-expansions...

Amazing
It's an excelent multiplayer platformer, very user friendly, ideal for party play. There's a huge amount of downloadable content and the community created scenarios guarantees the continuity of this game. It is indeed a classic!
