Incredibly overrated, but.
This game was very hyped up in Japan thanks to Konami and mass advertising tactics. The art is very good, and the 3D models are by far the best the DS can handle. That's not saying much, considering that the DS handles 3D games like shit for the most part, but it's still about as impressive as it's going to get with Love ...

Durch die Nutzung des Real Time Clock (RTC) Systems ist Love Plus eine der realistischsten Dating-Simulationen. Die Spieluhr ist mit der echten Uhr synchronisiert, sodass die Tage des Mädchens zur gleichen Zeit beginnen wie deine physische Aufwachzeit und ihre Mittagspause zur gleichen Zeit wie deine Schul- oder Arbeitsmittagspause. Das Spiel berücksichtigt sogar die Jahreszeiten, sodass die Charaktere im Sommer ihre kurzen Ärmel tragen und im Winter ihre Mäntel anziehen würden. Wähle zu Beginn des Spiels ein Mädchen aus, mit dem du dich anfreunden möchtest, und entwickle eine romantische Beziehung. Ihre Annahme deines Geständnisses ist nicht das glückliche Ende an sich. Genieße es, mit ihnen auszugehen, verschiedene Dating-Hotspots zu erkunden und nach den Dates in deinen Träumen von deiner Freundin zu fantasieren. Ihre Fantasiebilder werden in die Traumgalerie aufgenommen und stehen dir zur privaten Ansicht zur Verfügung.

Very Stlyish and fun game
I really liked the art and the way the games plays vertically on the DS vs horizontally like normal DS games. At first I was skeptical because the reviews I read did not make the game all that I thought it would be. But after playing through it i really enjoyed playing it. It was worth the time to play through and translate it. The graphics were very good for a DS game and better than the previous DS games I have played. I give the game 4 stars.

Average game, lots of hype
I'll have to say that the previous reviewer is correct - while this game is okay, it isn't the revolutionary game that some many non-gaming (or semi-gaming) sites say it is. The two-tier game is kind of jarring, and the microphone is wonky.

Now, the art is fantastic for a game like this, and the tamagotchi-esque play is pretty interesting, so I'll give it a 4.

If you don't understand Japanese, get a translation guide, and to be honest, you should really look at the Tokimeki Memorial games for a not-as-pretty, but much better 'game' game.

this game is over rated. just feels like playing Nintendogs with a girl an object.
