Being able to have access to white label, black label, and grey label. As well as having arranged modes with full powered up weapons, makes this enjoyable for anyone to get into. The original soundtrack is now in stereo with an arranged soundtrack that is also great. So many options to choose from to help you master the game.

Iv'e played the arcade version of this game but was never good at it. But throughout playing a vast collection of shmups, I always seem to come back to this one. But I have come to my own personal conclusion that this one is the definitive edition. M2 Shottriggers absolutely nailed it. Before talking about the game itself, I want to point out the fantastic artwork of the game case. Just goes to show there was a lot of love that was invested in this game from the beginning. Now as soon as you get into the title, you hear a short symphony of music and you're at every version of the arcade game at your disposal. Including arranged modes, and the white, black, and grey label versions. The original ost is great, but the included arranged is fantastic as well. And it gets better when docked through a surround system. The game also has tate mode which is a must for the switch. I would recommend this as an essential game in your collection. Even beginners can play this with all the modes of easy and hard throughout the game. You absolutely need to buy this game.
