I like detective games that combine with puzzle

a game with many puzzles and it helps to think a lot

I always love detective games and Touch Detective has the most adorable (yet sarcastic) main detective with the cutest sidekick: a mushroom. No, wait, a funghi.
TD1 1/2 continues with the same (and new) characters of the previous TD game with new mystery and plot. This time we even have a nemesis for our dear Mackenzie.

The story is still silly like the characters but this game really doesn't give you hints on what to do that I get lost trying to figure out what to do. I'd find myself randomly clicking things and going back and forth trying to move the story along. It gets frustrating which simply means, don't underestimate the cuteness of this game.

The artwork is amazing, the touch screen is being used (unlike some games) and the fact that you have a touch journal requires you to touch EVERYTHING so that you can complete it.

The gameplay pretty much has you talk to people, touch and pick up items, go to places and combine things to solve mysteries or to get people to answer you. On the top screen you will always have Mackenzie with her bubble thought ready to think something that she may not say outloud. It can be funny sometimes so make sure to read them as well.

I played it on my niece's DS so when I got myself a 3DS and saw that a chance to buy this game in Play-Asia, I did and have not regretted it yet.

Touch Detective doesn't really shine game play wise but it makes up for it with charm. If you are fan of quirky characters and odd humor definitely buy this game but if you are looking for a great puzzler you should look it from elsewhere.

i love puzzle games, and this one should get more attention ! the graphics and the puzzles are charming and great ! a hidden gem for sure
