Japan Singer-songwriter Sakura Fujiwara releases a new album for the first time in about two years since her previous work "wood mood" (2024). The previous work "wood mood" was created while envisioning a story like wandering into a mystical forest, and its sound also reflected the shaking of Fujiwara's own mind and body at the time. Due to ear and throat problems, there was a time when she even felt afraid of the music she loved and had to keep her distance, but by embracing her own anxiety and confusion, she was able to relax without overthinking and face the original joy of music again. The sense of liberation is alive in this work "uku". The unpretentious her becomes sound as it is. It even feels like arriving at a beach with an open view after coming out of a long forest. Sound production is handled by drummer Shun Ishiwaka, continuing from the previous work. While retaining the texture of "wood mood", instead of stepping forward strongly, it is an album that feels as if the body becomes light and floats freely upward. Although released in winter, it also contains a passion that lights a warmth in the listener's heart. The lightness gained by letting go. The version of her who becomes mentally lightly dressed and dances freely in the sound breathes in this "uku". It contains 13 tracks including "Angel", "scent of the time".
