Based on the popular anime, Bleach: Heat the Soul is the first 3D fighting game published on Sony's PSP™ handheld device. Among the selectabe fighters are the anime's two main characters Rukia and Renji. For the sake of all fans of the series, the original voice characters from the animation series have been adopted for all voice actings used in the game. Bleach supports versus battles via wireless communication, up to 2 players can fight simultaneously.

Easy to play

No challenge for the game, hunting the point to buy card...

Buy HTS6 instead

Good for fans of the series who want every Bleach game. Not so good for fighting game fans. Only 6 characters (one unlockable) with 10 standard moves and 2 super moves each. Story mode is extremely short. You fight each of the other characters and you're done. Wash and repeat with each character. All the menus are in English though. However, the fight voice-over guy speaks English to. Weird usage of English. Just save your money for HTS6 with over 50 characters, or HTS7 which should have over 70... unless you're a collector like myself.

first installment, great future!

Great game, I love the anime so I really enjoyed this, yes, there only a few characters to choose from but the games go by the story, the second and third game have quite a bit more characters to choose from. Either way, if you enjoy action/fighting games, you\'ll love this one, with a few cutscenes and a few \"extras\" for the people who watch the anime ^^

Seems unfinished...

Why are there only five characters? Well, six if you count the hidden one. Anyway, the gameplay is really smooth. Combos are really easy to pull off once you figure out what each button is used for. Although the character list is small, they are all cool. I may check out the anime now. Oh yeah, the music is REALLY good to listen to even when you\'re not fighting. I just wish this game had english subtitles so I could into the story. I want to buy Bleach 2 if the price goes down or I might just wait until Bleach 3 comes out. Get this game if you don\'t want to spend a lot of money.
