Item Description
This sixth installment in Wink Music Service's popular 7-inch series combines a star-studded lineup with fresh talent. Side A features "Little China Girl," a brand new song written by pop maestro Ginji Ito. Guest vocals are provided by Kokoa, a 14-year-old Asian girl of Chinese and Thai descent, who performs a duet with Takanami. This exquisite pop tune combines a melody overflowing with the pop sensibility of Niagara, lyrics by Yuko Iizumi that portray the sadness of a teenager in love, and a British sound reminiscent of the Beatles and ELO.
Side B features the classic "Katakoto no Koi," written by Keitaro Takanami for the ending theme of the 2002 TV anime "Chobits." This experimental pop song, unique for Wink Music Service, incorporates jazz and soundtrack elements and is crafted into a French-inspired sound collage. Takanami's signature beautiful melody stands out, making this a highly polished piece. Kokoa is fluent in English and is a member of Sally Kubota's Western-oriented girl group, She's A Rainbow, which also includes Oberon Duff Rin, who participated in last year's third installment.
This is a must-have album for collectors, further enhancing the flow of the series.
