In this game your mission is to train the main character to become the most powerful spirits summoner Shaman King. You have to setup train the character and battle with different opponents. why?

i think they could have made it less cell shaded and more 3d like zelda or something. then i think that they could make it a free fight where you are in control like if you press a then you swing your sword or close to it

Shaman King - Excellent Game, Hard Translation.

Shaman King: Soul Fight is the classic importer’s struggle, it’s an awesome game but you’ll need to know lots of Japanese to really get the full enjoyment of the game. I can only recommend the game to peoples who at least know some Japanese because of the extensive amounts of Japanese required to play. Although for anyone out there that knows Japanese and is a fan of Shaman King, this is a title not to be missed!
