Taboo Trial [Twilight Edition] (Multi-Language)

I got this game thinking it looked great for a hack-and-slash game, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Apparently, the Steam/PC version is the premium version, and all the others are essentially bootlegs.

Positives: Diverse female character models; Interesting combat debuff skills

Negatives: Absolutely NO voice acting; Dialogue is very underwhelming; Very repetitive; AI generated art for the characters & backgrounds; lackluster music & sound effects.

Taboo Trial is not very good. The combat is unenjoyable, the enemies are generic and boring, and there are a ton of loading screens. The visuals are pretty bad, even for the Switch, the sound effects are really bad, and the music is OK, but overbearing. So what are the redeeming qualities? Well, you get to play as good looking chicks and some of the skills are good. This game is a roguelike where you get as far as you can and unlock skills along the way. When you die, you head back to the hub to purchase permanent upgrades. The loop is not bad, but the environments, enemies, and combat are just so boring.

Playasia's service was 10/10 but this game is a 4/10.

An excellently designed and executed game with decent challenge and multiple paths to choose. Game runs smoothly and looks great.
