Singer-songwriter Mafune Towa, whose soft vocals and soothing melodies gently envelop the soul, has announced the release of her latest album!
As the title suggests, "Umi wo Daite Nemuru," this concept album is inspired by the dialogue between Mafune, who was born and raised near the sea and has always felt close to nature, and the sea, wind, light, and other elements that exist between them. From the piano used in the introduction to strings, horns, acoustic and gut guitars, and vocal ensembles, the album is a free-spirited sound production that seems to set everything inside free! Supported by trusted musicians and engineers such as Paya (Yutai Communications), Kota Yamauchi and Keitaro Kanamine, and mixed and mastered by Yui Kimishima (Tsubame Studio), this album is a new frontier for the band!
