One of the last good mainstream horror IPs
These days, 'survival horror' seems to have taken a back seat in the mainstream media, as older versions of this genre now move more into 'blam the hoarde with a mate' kind of approach, Dead Space 3 at the point of this review maybe following suit, but in the meantime; let's return and enjoy the chilling hit of Dead Space 2.

Some horrors just won't leave you be, and that is the trauma that Isaac Clarke has to relive as the insanity he left behind has come along for a second dose. Necromorphs skulk around in the walls, ceilings, floors just waiting to literally jump out and eat your face off. Keep them at bay by hacking, blasting and stomping their heads, arms and legs off.
Use your rig's skills to navigate puzzles, overcome the challenging and most of all; survive.

If you value an experience of playing in the dark, with a pillow over your head, with headphones or 5.1 speakers on loud; prepare a stack of underwear on the side too. Dead Space 2 will help you live out mainstream horror in your hands
