I want to love this....
First off, as a non-Japanese speaker/reader I found this relatively easy to understand. The graphics are simple and fun, and the story involves a giant flying octopus: so far so good.
The negatives are, though, that it is quite difficult to play.
There appears to be an issue registering the movement of the left joy-con. I have tried 2 separate left joy-cons, swapping hands (in case I am more rhythmic with my right hand,) and getting my wife (a grade 7 drummer) to try it and the left hits either only register 50% of the time, or register on the way back up.
It is a fun game, but progress is slow due to this. If it turns out I am doing something wrong I will amend my score!
