The enigmatic Japanese-American artist HARUMI's cult psychedelic masterpiece from 1968 is being reissued with the latest remastering!
Recorded in New York in 1968, right in the middle of the psychedelic era from 1967 to 1968, this is the only album by HARUMI, a Japanese man living in the US who is believed to be the son of a Japanese businessman stationed in the US. A rare holy grail of delicate, almost fragile psychedelia that fuses an oriental melodic sensibility with soft American folk rock and the imagination of the late 1960s studio.
For this reissue, Grammy-nominated mastering engineer Jessica Thompson focused on faithfully reproducing the depth and dynamics of the original recording. The reissue also features restored original artwork.
