All in all great game to add to the lego collection

I am a fan of Lego Star Wars and Lego Batman, and this one went a step above those! Lego Harry Potter has been so much fun to play, and I definitely recommend it. Can't wait for the upper years!

Sorry, I'm about to state the obvious . . . If you love Harry Potter and you love the Lego games, buy this game. It's a lot of fun. It's very similar to the other Lego games with a few improvements here and there. Attending classes in Hogwarts to learn new abilities was a great way to progress your character's skills. I enjoyed the smooth flow between levels (exploring Hogwarts) instead of the central hub that's usually used in the other Lego games. The Harry Potter world is beautifully represented and immersive. Luckily this world keeps the repetitive gameplay found in all the Lego games from becoming stale. There are a ton of collectibles including over 150 playable characters. My favourite was to walk around Hogwarts as the Doctor . . . I mean Barty Crouch Jr.
