Funny SUDA51-style game with some hickups
Lollipop Chainsaw is a whacky hack-n-slash kind of game guaranteed with SUDA51's weird storytelling, crazy dialogues and interesting art styles).
Too bad the game didn't make use of the polished core gameplay mechanics established by the studio's previous attempt 'Shadows of the Damned' and went for sluggish and mediocre mixes of hacking, quicktime mini-games and weird chainsaw-riding (racing-style dashing) mechanics so my experiences with Lollipop were kind of dry.
However, Lollipop is still an okay and enjoyable game to try if you like to break away from the 'seriousness' of all the big AAA titles, it will sometimes make you laugh and sometimes make your eyes roll.
