Okami (Best Price!)

Okami is so good I never played the original ps2 but I'm gald I got it for the wii well worth owning.

If there is a such a thing as a "masterpiece", Okami may as well be sitting next to it. The Wii controls make this version even more enjoyable.

I've already played it on ps2, but it's one of the reasons i've bought a Wii! It was an interesting way of mixing some of japanese folklore elements!!

Nice artsy graphics. Beautiful game to look at.
And it's so fun to read the traditional japanese right-to-left vertical manual.

I originally played this game on an English system, but after getting a Japanese Wii, I just HAD to get this for it! It's been such a great experience playing through in the original language! >_<

However, my greatest happiness was that I FINALLY got to see the ending credits! I'd heard the song (Reset) before, but it was even more great to finally hear it with the credits.

Some people have noted that the English releases changed the control's layout, which is what I had actually expected when I first played this one. However, I figured them out easily enough and have once again completed Okami! However, I couldn't say that either layout was easier/harder. I actually enjoyed the Swing-based attacking in the English version, and didn't find using the A-button any easier. (It's all timing, which tons of games use anyway)

The one thing I actually didn't like, was how the Dodge technique was used by swinging the Wii-remote... I actually preferred it with the Nunchuck (English ver.). However, since I never use it anyway, I simply didn't get that ability. Problem solved! (Not really a problem anyway)
