Real Rode Portable

Definitely interesting. It's different, since it has RPG elements in it, and the "SLG Mode" is indeed novel, but none of these take away from the dating simulation part of it, but rather, adds quite new depths. There is a rare amount of rpg dating sims, so it's very refreshing to see one done with many different classes and characters. It also retains the dating sim element of the game, making it a true otome game.
The 'cheer' options in battle reminds me a lot of Harukanaru Toki no Naka de, and the lack of fighting ability the heroine has is a huge disappointment, but oddly I forget all about that since I'm too busy healing the guys anyways.
Only been playing it for less than 10 hours, so I don't know how well the dating sim elements will develop, but the game seems very fast for now. We'll see. From what I've played, 4/5 overall, as the downsides of the love simulation elements were covered with the RPG elements really well, and vice versa.

I was worried that the game would be difficult to play since my Japanese isn't very good, but I'm glad to find that I was wrong... the game's system is pretty easy to understand, as long as you've played RPGs before.

The Rode Clock extra feature that came with the game is sadly something that would only run/work when you have the game running, ie., it drains your battery if you keep it running.
