故事大纲：
2012年，一个下雪的夜晚，在日本最大规模的演唱会现场，在数万粉丝的注视下，作成偶像的泽村遥，自白说出「我是桐生一马的家人」。与此同时，“堂岛之龙”桐生一马了结了一场捲入日本五大都市的巨大黑道斗争。桐生为了遥和在冲绳等待的「牵牛花」孤儿院孩子们的幸福，决定再次金盆洗手，接受处罚入狱三年。在这期间，从艺能界冲击引退的遥，没能如愿过上稳定的生活，反而日夜受到世人的诽谤中伤，苛责她是「受黑道养育的女儿」，甚至牵连到了牵牛花孤儿院。2016年，刑期结束的桐生满怀希望回到冲绳，却从孩子们口中得知遥为了不连累到孤儿院，失踪了。
桐生来到神室町寻找遥，在摸不到线索的时候接到刑警伊达的电话，得知遥遭遇了事故这样难以置信的事实。赶到集中治疗室看到遥昏迷不醒，心痛的桐生又被告知遥在事故发生时保护了自己的孩子「泽村遥人」。因为遥在失踪时曾待在广岛，桐生带着遥人前往广岛东部古老的尾道仁涯町，调查遥失踪的始末以及孩子的父亲是谁。桐生无可避免地首次踏入了在广岛执牛耳的黑道势力「阳铭连合会」的地盘。同时，桐生发现尾道的人们似乎都刻意隐瞒着什么秘密，自己也受到了针对遥人的集团袭击……

游戏系统：
本作的战斗系统整体都经过了重新架构。特点之一是新系统「动作组合系统」，带来更强的打击感和更真实的战斗。根据攻击瞬间敌人的姿势和桐生攻击的角度方向的不同，后续动作会自然地发生相应的变化，根据攻击的结果（击中或被防御），桐生和敌人的反应也会有所不同。特点之二是本作舞台的地形和物件会十分丰富多样，在战斗时可以与大小高低不同的各种地形物件交互干涉，增加战斗乐趣。另外，本作新增了发动时可以提升桐生能力的「无限斗气状态」，而且系列首次可以在战斗中途逃走了。
冒险方面本作对场景做了更细緻的设计，而且各场景间採用无缝衔接。管理画面採用智能手机，追加SNS及拍照等新功能。在不同地区会有不同的小游戏，包括与女孩子视频聊天、RIZAP身体锻鍊，经营猫咪咖啡厅、棒球模拟游戏、3D对战格斗游戏、射飞镖、卡拉OK等等等等不一而足，甚至还有安抚照顾爱哭的小遥人呢。

It just gets better and better
Each new Ryu ga Gotoku game just gets better. This version comes with super fantastic graphics that really shows. A must get if u enjoyed the previous series.

Excellent!!
It has a gripping story, excellent fighting system, and plenty of side quest fun/updated DLC! You won't regret playing
