The King of Fighters XII

As a completionist, I had to get this game. After popping it in, I was quite shocked at the different movesets and smaller roster than the usual games. There's also no special intros like between Kyo & Iori or Kensou & Athena. With just a Time trial as the only mode, it felt like half a game. The AI isn't very smart, and I had to double-check the options to make sure I was playing at normal. Unlocking the galley and earning all the trophies will be hard. You'll probably spend hours & hours trying to get them. There's a lot I'm going to miss, but at least the background and sprites are pretty.

I'm a KOF fan since KOF 94...
This game isn't the worst game off all, but isn't the best either...94, 95, 02, XII are the best...96, 97, 99, 01, 02, 03 are medium...98 and 00 are worst...
It has beatiful graphics, but only 5 arenas...only 22 fighters...a poor variety of special moves...doesn't have a history...and you only play 5 matches in a strange time trial mode (the "arcade" mode)...
Despite this, it's easy to play, easy to do combos and the "critical counter" is good to...
If you play only to play, it isn't very fun, because it takes only 10 minutes to clear the game...but the trophies are the real challenge and extends the play value until you conquer the platinum...
Finally, it's better than Street Fighter IV...

It's not the best game but it's KOF and I must have them all.
