SM ENTERTAINMENT JAPAN launches "GPP," an extraordinary eight-member Japanese J-POP girl group recognized by the top of K-POP, taking off to the world. From SM ENTERTAINMENT JAPAN, which has managed the Japanese activities of world-class artists such as BoA, Tohoshinki, SUPER JUNIOR, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, and RIIZE, their long-awaited first girls group finally debuts. The group name "GPP (Ji Pi Pi)" stands for "G: Genkai toppa (Breaking Limits)" and "PP: Paper Plane (Paper Airplane)." Just like a paper airplane that, after many folds (accumulated experiences), flies powerfully and endlessly, it embodies their strong determination and challenge to break conventions and soar into Japan's music scene and the world.
