Change Your Life Starting Today! Human Figure Sketching

Improve your drawing skills one step at a time with Change Your Life Starting Today! Human Figure Sketching, a practical guide by illustrator Goshichi Shoji. Designed for beginners and aspiring artists, this book introduces a structured approach to figure sketching that helps readers develop their observation and drawing abilities through focused exercises and achievable goals.

Rather than encouraging artists to simply sketch repeatedly, this book teaches a step-by-step method built around focusing on a single theme during each practice session. By concentrating on specific subjects such as body proportions, perspective, silhouettes, gestures, and anatomy, readers can clearly see their progress and build confidence with every exercise.

The book includes 27 practice themes and 69 key points, progressing from simple standing poses to more advanced subjects such as dynamic poses, multiple figures, clothed models, body types, character design, and drawing from photographs. It also covers both traditional and digital sketching methods, making it suitable for a wide range of artists.
