I know I like this game. The combat is fast-paced and beautiful to look at, with plenty of different weapons and moves to keep things fresh. Compared to something like Elden Ring, or even the first Code Vein, this game is significantly easier, which, in my opinion is a good thing. There is an occasional boss that poses a challenge and needs to be faced after you've grown stronger. The story is a significant improvement over the first game - let's hope they'll have a chance to flesh out the world even more in future installments.
Main gripes are a constant succession of minor graphical glitches (a shame, given that the world IS beautiful to look at) and a world that feels too small compared to other games of the same kind. Overall I get the feeling the game would have benefitted from more time in development. Again, a shame - Code Vein games deserve to grow into their own universe, and not just ride on the coattails of FromSoftware's success.
