Far superior to the original Black/White.
The geographical layout is still the same and yet remained attractive due to some changes. Everything else has been improved upon. Auto repel, Shopping Avenue, PWT, Hidden Grottoes, Habitat List in the Pokedex and many more new features make it easier to acquire the items, skills and EVs that you wish. The movesets of most Pokemon have been reshuffled a bit to make it a bit more well balanced and to utilise the power of TMs all the better. And now there are even more fun minigames and sidequests.
If you play it on the 3DS I highly recommend the Dream Radar add-on for this game. Definitely worth the 3-4$ purchase.
Personally I feared that the pinnacle of the Pokemon Franchise on Handhelds has been reached with HG&SS but this game made me rethink.
