Two Puzzle Legends Reunite for the Ultimate Crossover
Japan’s beloved puzzle game series Puyo Puyo and the world-renowned Tetris® game franchise have teamed up again to deliver even more Puyo-popping and Tetrimino-clearing fun in Puyo Puyo Tetris 2. Playing is easy: match 4 or more same-colored Puyos or complete a line of blocks to clear them from your board and dump Garbage into your opponent’s game. But keep an eye on what’s coming your way too.
Play traditional Puyo Puyo and Tetris…or mix them together to level up your game. Offline or online, you’ll have loads of modes that let you play the way you want from single-player Adventure to couch-competition Versus to ranked Online matches, and more.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Switch (Japanese version, special price)
This game is great, no matter which version of it you get. This particular version of the game gives you Japanese, English, Korean, simplified Chinese, and traditional Chinese language options. You can also swap between the Japanese voices and the English dub, although you unfortunately have to turn off the sound effects if you want to turn off voices entirely, and there's no way to turn off the voice lines for cutscenes. There's no interior art on the case, but it comes with a tiny instruction manual and small ad for either Puyo Puyo Esports or Puyo Puyo Quest depending on which side of the pamphlet you happen to be looking at. The spine is also gaudy in a way that I unironically adore, it's just fun and makes the game easier to locate from a distance. The story mode is fun too, and you can understand it without playing the first game (even if it will reference that game from time to time). The gameplay itself is solid in both storymode and in regular matches. Overall, it's a pretty good game, and I would recommend it!
