While the environment surrounding club activities in today's Japanese society is changing and declining membership numbers are said to be a problem, the fun and excitement of various club activities remains unchanged. We interviewed top athletes and celebrities who devoted themselves to club activities during their school days, regardless of their level, and passionately shared their memories of club activities and what they gained through them. We interviewed Ai Takahashi (volleyball), Ryuji Miura (athletics), Teruaki Sato (baseball), Kengo Nakamura (soccer), and Ayumu Goromaru (rugby), as well as top athletes and former athletes from each sport. They shared memorable memories and anecdotes from club practices, training camps, games, and tournaments, the appeal of the sport, and memorable matches, as well as how club activities have helped them live their lives to the present. We also interviewed the creators of popular club activity manga.
