Tekken 7 Brings Enjoyment & Frustration!!
Tekken 7 brings forth a high quality look and sound, great game play and a very interesting story to the table that makes a great game. While many players will be happy with the Arcade, Online Battle, Treasure Battle and Practice Modes, many players will not be happy with how the story mode is constructed. The main plot of the story is supposed to be about finally bringing the conflict within the Mishima Family to an end. The player is put in the position of having to play certain characters at certain times while the story is narrated through still-shots and FMV's. The game will control the direction of fights in this mode which can get annoying. Certain simple moves for the player suddenly won't work as easy (or at all) as they would in the other modes. Even for veteran players the MAIN FINAL BOSS FIGHTS are the worst, unfair and cheapest fights of this entire game (...and some would even say of the entire Tekken franchise). Similar to Tekken 5, 6 and Tekken Tag 2, the customization returns allowing creativity and personalization to the game. While it is entertaining to choose between many clothes and items (...and some of the items can be used within a fight.) it still appears somewhat limited as there seems to be far too many wacky, goofy things for customization that players would not want. In conclusion, fans and newcomers alike will enjoy all that Tekken 7 has to offer except the fighting within the Mishima Story Mode.
