The Sky

This is Guiano's third original album after a gap of five years. Since his last album "A" (2021), Guiano has expanded his activities as an artist and writer, and has provided songs and collaborated with numerous artists. In 2025, he held two one-man live concerts, both of which were SOLD OUT. The experience and growth of the past five years have culminated in the musical and ideological depth of this album. The theme of this album is "Kuu" ("Emptiness"). Taking the Buddhist idea of "Ku (emptiness)" -- the idea that everything is essentially without meaning or form, but merely exists -- as a starting point, Guiano pursued "the beauty that lies in the space between the meaningful and the meaningless. This is a work that captures, in the form of music, the "beauty of existence" that lies beyond meaning. The album also includes "The Painter's Journey," a collection of short stories inspired by the same theme. Words and sounds resonate with each other, weaving together the poetic question, "To draw = to live. The Sky" is the philosophy and conclusion Guiano has reached over the past five years, and it is also a prayer for living in the present.
