"TOKYOHUM" is his 14th original album overall and his first in two years since his previous work "Saisei," a piece woven with sound around the concept of "the pulse of the city." The present state of DJ KRUSH, who for 34 years since his solo debut has continued to explore new musical expression with hip-hop at its core, is expressed in the sound of all ten tracks. Guest performers include Riko Dan (UK), MC Yallah (Kenya / Uganda), and ELIM (Japan). The jacket artwork is a drawing that the internationally acclaimed B-BOY sculptor Taku Obata (TAKU OBATA) drew on a DJ KRUSH record. In addition to the tracks featuring guests, three instrumental tracks are included as bonus tracks.
